Citizen covers Tay Cities Deal inclusion

The St Andrews Citizen piece notes that the Tay Cities Deal is a partnership between local councils, the Scottish and UK governments, plus the private, academic and voluntary sectors. It includes 58 projects, one of which is the railway feasibility study, to be managed by Fife Council.

The report claims that such a railway has ‘the potential to have a significant economic development benefit.’

The important thing now is to ensure that the project stays in the document until it is submitted to Holyrood and Westminster.
